Our Changing Oceans
If you enjoyed the stunning imagery in the recent David Attenborough documentary "Ocean", this session takes you a step further beneath the surface.
Explore some of the key scientific findings that reveal how marine environments are shifting, and how life-forms from whales to microscopic bacteria are responding. While the picture is complex and sometimes confronting, there is also a growing knowledge of practical actions we can take to reduce our impact on these extraordinary ecosystems.

Raranga Weaving: Small baskets
Ready to take your raranga weaving to the next level? This workshop is designed for people who have some experience weaving putiputi (flax flowers) and want to build on their skills. You will learn how to weave small harakeke baskets that can be used around your home or given as thoughtful handmade gifts.
Date: Saturday 12th September 2026.
Time: 9am to 1pm.
Cost: $32 per person.
