Learn how to weave putiputi
Create some beautiful putiputi (flowers) from harakeke | flax at this raranga weaving workshop with tutor Kathy Harford. Ko Te Ati Haunui a Pāpārangi tōku iwi, also ancestors from England and Scotland. Ko Kathy Harford tōku ingoa.

Time: 10am to 1pm.
Location: Canterbury WEA (59 Gloucester Street, Central City).
Cost: $26 per person.
This will be a fun workshop focused on learning some tikanga | cultural practices, Te Reo language, weaving skills and getting together to be crafty. There will be options of making chrysanthemum, rose, arum lily, and more. Kathy runs calm, fun and supportive classes. All tools and harakeke provided.
