Addiction 101 workshop from Blueprint for Learning
Addiction 101 is a workshop designed for adults 18 years and over to help increase knowledge and understanding while reducing the stigma of addiction at home, work, and everyday life.
Addiction comes in many forms and impacts many of us - either directly or indirectly. Recovery is possible for everyone, but it helps to understand what it takes for a person to change.
Get a better understanding of addiction and recovery, and the confidence to respond supportively using skills you already have.
Date: Monday 5th May 2025.
Time: 9am to 4.30pm.
Location: Hurunui District Council Chambers (66 Carters Road, Amberley).
Cost: FREE - funded by Health NZ.
Experienced facilitators bring a huge amount of professional and personal experience to the day, running interactive activities and stimulating conversations that bring the learning to life.
