We're talking hauora: An evening with leading Canterbury researchers
Te Papa Hauora Health Precinct Christchurch, the Health Research Society of Canterbury and the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation invite you to attend this FREE public event - a fun evening of talks from leading Canterbury researchers who are improving health outcomes in our community.
Date: Wednesday 7th May 2025.
Time: 5.30 to 7.30pm. Refreshments from 5pm.
Location: Foyer of Manawa (276 Antigua Street) or online.
The speakers and topics this year include:
- Tackling collisions in junior rugby with Professor Nick Draper (Post-Doctoral Fellow from the School of Health Sciences at University of Canterbury);
- Age-friendly neighbourhoods with Dr Angela Curl (Senior Lecturer from the Department of Population Health at University of Otago, Christchurch);
- Helping our Pēpi and Tamariki live their best lives: An immunisation story with Dr Anna Howe (Senior Lecuturer from the School of Health Sciences at University of Canterbury);
- What happens when children with ADHD grow up? with Associated Professor James Foulds (Department of Psychological Medicine at University of Otago Christchurch);
