Seminar: Working together for vulnerable kids
This FREE seminar is run by Child Matters in partnership with and funded by Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children.
The seminar provides a great foundation in how we can work together to keep children and young people safe. They are designed for professionals working with children - including teachers, health workers, and social service providers.
Date: Wednsday 2nd April 2025.
Time: 9am to 4pm. Morning tea is provided.
Location: St Albans Community Centre (1049 Colombo Street, St Albans).
Cost: FREE.
The seminar serves a dual purpose:
- To create a child protection network in every community.
- To explore the current landscape of child protection, what defines a vulnerable child, and the role each person has in child protection.
