Introductory talks on ME/CFS and its management
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) is a serious long-term, complex, multi-system illness. It impacts people’s ability to do everyday tasks and affects people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders.
Researchers have found that people with ME/CFS have an abnormal physiological response to activity, altered immune function, impaired energy production at a cellular level and changes in gut bacteria.
Learn more about ME/CFS by attending an upcoming introductory talk by Wendy Dragt - a nurse with MECFS Canterbury. Wendy will discuss ME/CFS and its Management, including diagnostic criteria, impacts and symptom management.
