Upcoming seminar series on loneliness from WEA
Come along to the WEA to learn whether a loneliness epidemic will be the next medical or moral crisis with Michael Couch.
Humanity is perhaps more electronically connected than ever - from cell phones to social media, to online influencers. Yet, most generations also report increased levels of disconnection as well, with physical connections seemingly on the way out. Join Michael to consider past reflections and current views on the link between loneliness, depression, and anxiety.
Dates: Tuesday 13th and 20th May 2025 (2 sessions).
Time: 12.30 to 2.30pm.
Location: Canterbury WEA (59 Gloucester Street, Central City).
Cost: $29 per person or $22 for those with a Hāpai or Community Services Card.
