Marine Invertebrate Workshops with Dr Joyce Yager
These workshops will be a crash course in marine invertebrate zoology to start you down the road of how to identify some of the resident animals of Whakaraupō | Lyttelton Harbour and learn about their ecological roles.
Dates and Times:
- Thursday 21st November from 5.30 to 7.30pm; or
- Sunday 24th November from 2 to 4pm.
Location: The Woolstore at Te Ana Marina (Lyttelton).
Cost: $5 plus booking fee per person.
You will look at some live animals in microscopes and work on identifying them together. The target audience for this is people 16 years + who are curious or excited about marine invertebrates, but you do not need to have any prior knowledge.
