Dementia and delirium
Delirium (or acute confusion) is a condition that is common in people who have a pre-existing brain disease such as dementia. Learn from Dr Susan Gee about how to distinguish between delirium and dementia and what carers can do to help both prevent and manage delirium. There will be time at the end for questions.

Dementia behaviours
Increase your understanding about why certain behaviours may occur when a person has dementia and helpful ways to respond. McKenzie Katting from Burwood Hospital will discuss behaviours associated with dementia that may challenge others, causes of these behaviours, and appropriate strategies for responding. There will be time at the end for questions.
