Come along to the Richmond Community Gardens and Riverlution Eco Hub in March 2026, for a range of events and workshops.
Weaving Water Bottle Holders Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of weaving with flax to craft your own unique water bottle holder. It's a perfect blend of nature, creativity, and practicality.
This workshop with Inga from the Foraging and Growing Corner is suitable for beginners only.
Date: Sunday 1st March 2026.
Time: 11am to 2pm.
Location: Riverlution (46A Vogel Street, Richmond).
Cost: $30 per person, or $50 per family (2 adults). Children FREE.

Community Composting Crew
Explore the science and art of composting with hands-on learning you can use at home, while supporting your local community gardens. Learn to build hot compost piles, balance ingredients, and troubleshoot whilst helping turn waste into nutrient-rich “black gold”.
Date: Thursday 5th March 2026.
Time: 10am to noon.
Location: Richmond Community Gardens (235 River Road, Richmond).
Cost: FREE.

Riverlution Farmers Market
Come along to this weekly market to stock up on seasonal fresh veggies, fruits, artisan breads, and handcrafted treats - all lovingly created by local growers and makers.
Date: Every Saturday.
Time: 9am to 12.30pm.

Repair Riverlution
Revolt against throw-away culture. Let's reclaim the things we own and take pride in maintaining and repairing them. Bring your broken items along to this monthly opportunity to see if skilled and experienced volunteers can help repair them.
Date: Tuesday 17th March 2026.
Time: 5.30 to 7.30pm.
Location: Riverlution (46A Vogel Street).

Richmond Gala
Join this brilliant local day out showcasing of all the amazing happenings in and around Richmond. Sellers will only accept cash and bank transfer.
Browse the buzzing carboot sale in the Community Garden’s meadow, as well as join demonstrations and activities by the playground, and enjoy the famous Devonshire Tea at Avebury House.
There'll be fun things for the kids to do, loads of food vendors, local craft stalls and live entertainment. You can also bring along unusual fruits of your labours for the Wonky Veg Competition.
Date: Saturday 28th March 2026.
Time: 10am to 2pm.
Location: Avebury House (9 Eveleyn Couzins Avenue) and Riverlution.
