Building a Wellbeing Economy from the City Up
Christchurch City Council, Christchurch NZ and WeAll Aotearoa are pleased to be hosting Building a Wellbeing Economy From The City Up with international expert Dr Katherine Trebeck exploring the role of cities and regions in creating an economy fit for the 21st century.
Dr Trebeck will share with Cantabrians how cities and regions around the world are reshaping their local economies. She will examine what different sectors and levels of government need to do to help build a wellbeing economy.

Dr Katherine Trebeck is a political economist, writer and advocate for economic system change. She co-founded the Wellbeing Economy Alliance and also its Scottish hub WEAll Scotland. Dr Trebeck will be alongside guest speakers:
- Councillor Sara Templeton - Christchurch City Council;
- Ali Adams - CE of Christchurch NZ;
- Gareth Hughes - Director of WEAll Aotearoa; and
- Professor Paul Dalziel - Patron of WEAll Aotearoa.
