Young people need to design the Child and Youth Mental Health Study
The Ministry of Health has an exicting opportunity for young people to be involved in the design of the Child and Youth Mental Health Study! They are looking for a group of young people (aged 16 to 24) with lived experience of mental health and/or substance use to come together to as a Youth Advisory Group for the Study from August 2025 until July 2027.
You'll be asked to provide advice on:
- study principles;
- topics to include in the study;
- design, methods and implementation;
- the draft questionnaire; and
- data analysis and communications.
The Youth Advisory Group will represent the voices of youth, ensuring the Study is safe and engaging while addressing the diverse needed of young people.
Youth voices are an important part of this study and members will be reimbursed for their time.
