Extend your Waitangi celebrations by learning raranga weaving
Learn raranga weaving at CWEA alongside tikanga (cultural practice) and a little Te Reo (language) with tutor Kathy, who explains Ko Te Ati Haunui a Pāpārangi tōku iwi, also ancestors from England and Scotland.
You will learn how to make putiputi (flowers) including a rose and arum lily in a fun environment. All tools and harakeke (flax) provided.
Date: Saturday 8th February 2025.
Time: 12.30 to 3.30pm.
Location: CWEA (59 Gloucester Street, Central City).
Cost: $26 per person or $19 for Community Service or Hapai Card holders. Price includes materials required.
