Stand with Mothers in Crisis this Mother's Day
Join UN Women Aotearoa NZ this Mother’s Day for an evening of reflection, connection, and action. Come and hear Professor Gail Pacheco - Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) Commissioner - speak on the critical link between economic security and safety, and why advancing pay equity is essential to ensuring women, and mothers, can live with dignity and opportunity.
Date: Tuesday 12th May 2026.
Time: 5 to 7pm.
Location: Christchurch Golf Club (45 Horseshoe Lak Road, Shirley).
Cost: $55 plus booking fee per person. A discounted next generation ticket is available for young women.
Across the world, more families are living through crisis. For many mothers, daily life is shaped by uncertainty, risk, and impossible choices. Simple acts, travelling safely, accessing healthcare, or sending children to school, can become dangerous.
This event will raise vital funds to support UN Women programmes delivering safety, protection, and opportunity for women and mothers in crisis.
