What If Wednesdays: What is weak signals made us curious?
Come along to the next What If Wednesday conversation hosted by Cheryl Doig: What if weak signals made us curious about the world around us? Weak signals are small symptoms of change that easily go unnoticed. They may seem weird, stupid, outrageous or unbelievable.
You are invited to bring along a signal to share or simply find out what others have noticed. We will be using the excellent examples provided by Sitra - the Finnish Innovation Fund.
Date: Wednesday 11th March 2026.
Time: 8 to 9am.
Location: Beat Street Café (324 Barbadoes Street, Central City).
Book your spot at this What If Wednesday conversation (Humanitix).
The Dubai Future Foundation published a Global 50 Report in 2024 which shared 50 opportunities to ponder and posed "What if?" questions to encourage thinking.
The Ōtautahi Futures Collective holds monthly FREE What if Wednesday events to explore one of the opportunities. At each gathering a new volunteer will choose the Global 50 question. They get to choose the next question from the report and design how the conversation will unfold.
