Mid-life Hearing Loss and Dementia
Midlife hearing loss can cause an increased risk of dementia. It is important to optimise our hearing and treat any hearing loss in order to maximise our brain health.
Dr Melissa Babbage from Bellbird Hearing will discuss the links between hearing loss and dementia, and Debbie Williams from Your Way Kai Roha will talk about Hearing Therapy and what the role of a hearing therapist is, and how we can support our community. There will be time at the end for questions.
Date: Wednesday 20th August 2025.
Time: 7 to 8pm.
Location: Online via zoom.
Cost: FREE.
