Hear Professor Alexandra MacMillan from University of Otago talk about her research at the intersection of environmental sustainability, the built environment and health equity, particularly understanding how we respond collectively to climate change in ways that bring co-benefits for health equity.

Professor MacMillan is a Tangata Tiriti public health physician and Professor of environmental public health. She has been the principal investigator for Te Ara Mua Future Streets, a 10-year community intervention study of street changes for place restoration, walking and wheeling in Ngā Hau Māngere; and she is the co-Director of Climate Health Aotearoa, an emerging national research organization.
