Talk Dementia with a doctor
- If a person has memory problems, is that dementia?
- Are Alzheimer’s and dementia the same?
- Is dementia hereditary?
- How helpful are the medications for dementia?
These and other questions will be answered by Dr Thomas Borowsky - a senior resident doctor at Burwood Hospital.

Supporting someone with Dementia
Kristen Phillips is the author of "Dad, You’ve Got Dementia: Conversations with my father" and will share her tips on supporting someone with dementia. She will be reading short sections from her book and will recommend dementia books, including books suitable for children. There will be time at the end for questions.
