Get involved in Neighbours Aotearoa spring campaign: Let's Connect
Neighbours Aotearoa spring campaign - "Let's Connect" - is all about getting neighbours to come together and build connections over a cup of coffee. They invite community members to organise meet-up tables in October 2024 at their local neighbourhood cafés to hangout, chat, and enjoy a hot drink or cup of coffee.
How you can participate
- Approach your local café to set up a table and the possibility of discounted coffees.
- Organise the meet-up with a time and date at the chosen café.
- Promote the event through channels such as community boards, social media, letterbox drops, and word of mouth to invite neighbours to join the meet-ups. Participants will also be provided with personalised promotional material to help spread the word.
- Facilitate the “Let's Connect” event helping everyone involved to feel welcomed and included.
Neighbours Aoteaora will provide promotional material to help you spread the word about your meetup as well as resources to help on the day!
Neighbours Aotearoa is on the lookout for a like-minded business in Aotearoa to partner with us for this event to sponsor coffees - enabling people to connect with their neighbours while supporting local businesses.
