Keep the kids entertained over the holiday period with a range of free or low-cost events hosted by Christchurch City Libraries.
Events and activities for tamariki of all ages will be on across the libraries network this summer – check out what’s in store.

Pick up a dragon-themed story bag to take part in the Day of Dragons series at Shirley Library.

Welcome the Year of the Snake at Lunar New Year celebrations from 1st to 15th February, with activities including:
- shadow puppet storytelling;
- Chinese Chess at Tūranga;
- lion dance workshops;
- family celebrations at Upper Riccarton Library;
- bedtime stories at Fendalton Library; and
- lion dance storytelling at Shirley Library.
