Laptops urgently needed by Recycle A Device
The new school year is here, and the demand for laptops for rangatahi is skyrocketing! Can you help?
Recycle A Device (RAD) had requests for over 1000 laptops in the first week of Term 1 2024 for rangatahi eager to learn, connect, and grow. They urgently need laptops to keep up with the growing demand. If you have a preloved device gathering dust, now’s the time to give it a new lease on life.
Get in touch to donate any laptops that:
- Are less than 10 years old; and
- Have their charger.
Every laptop you donate is securely data-wiped and refurbished by our RAD clubs before it becomes a digital lifeline for a young learner.
Why donate laptops to RAD?
Your preloved laptop can live a second life and open the door to education, employment, digital skills and participation with RAD.
All donated devices are securely data sanitised at Entelar Group to an enterprise grade using Blackbelt.
Laptops are then whisked away to be refurbished by a RAD club based in a High School or Community Group around Aotearoa.
The RAD refurbishers are wizards at getting your laptop looking and feeling like new before it finds a new home with someone who needs it.

A RAD laptop can change someone's life and give them increased confidence and freedom to self-determine their future.
So please... look around your office, email your IT department and ask your friends. RAD relies on laptop donations to continue supporting the growing need in communities.
