Green Drinks: "The Rubbish Trip" film screening
Join Green Drinks for an insightful evening featuring a screening of the short documentary "The Rubbish Tip" and a talk by Miriama Buchanan - Kaiārahi Project Leader at Para Kore.

Hannah and Liam are the dynamic duo behind "The Rubbish Trip". They originally embarked on a nationwide tour offering free zero waste workshops around Aotearoa New Zealand. Now experts in waste reduction, they share their journey and insights in this short documentary. The film delves into their zero waste lifestyle, the challenges and successes they've encountered, and their work in advocacy and activism.
Para Kore Marae Incorporated is a Māori not-for-profit organisation dedicated to achieving zero waste that was established in 2010. Miriama will discuss the Oranga Taiao programme, which integrates te ao Māori perspectives on waste reduction and fosters a deeper connection to Papatūānuku (Earth Mother) and Ranginui (Sky Father).
