Fungi Whānau Event at the Fungi Farm
You and your whānau are invited to the Fungi Farm's natural playground for their Monthly Fungi Whānau Event - where they aim to cultivate a community passionate about fungi and their amazing roles in our ecosystem.
Come along to delve into a different fungi topic each month with engaging workshops and hands-on activities. There's something for everyone - whether you're a seasoned mycologist or just curious about the world of fungi!
Date: Sunday 4th August 2024.
Time: 10.30am to 1pm.
Location: Fungi Farm (254 River Road, Richmond).
Join Hayley and Inga this month for an incredible experience where you'll learn about:
- Inoculating fungi;
- Preparing soil for the best fungi growth;
- Experiments with coffee grinds, books, and cardboard;
- Observing and learning about mushrooms that eat dead wood; and
- More fungi-themed activities!
