Listening to Families: Videos answering real-life questions
It can be bewildering when a child or young person is going through a big health challenge. The Listening to Families team publish FREE videos that answer real-life questions from families on a range of topics - to provide timely self-paced support.
Each video series is a conversation between experts and parents (and often young people themselves) on a topic to share key information to help families work out what's going on, suggest tools and tactics to use every day, and provide ideas of positive, proactive steps to support the family and the child. Links to trusted resources are also provided.
The videos are arranged in chapters for quick reference. Topics currently covered include:
- ADHD;
- Anxiety;
- Autism;
- Child, Adolescent and Family (CAF) Service;
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS);
- Eating disorders;
- Emotion regulation;
- General Practice - getting the most out of your GP appointment; and
- Wellbeing and stress from a Muslim perspective.
