Updated Integrated Planning Guide v3.2: A holiday treat
Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete me te Tau Hou - Seasons greetings for Christmas and the New Year.
The Health in All Policies team at Te Mana Ora | Community and Public Health are pleased to share the latest version of the Integrated Planning Guide for a healthy, sustainable and resilient future (IPG).
The IPG is a versatile tool to help integrate outcomes thinking relevant to health, wellbeing and sustainability into policy and plan making. The tool provides sets of questions that give structure to conversations around the building blocks of health – otherwise known as the determinants of health – to unlock new ways to get co-benefits for your project. The IPG can be used multiple ways during planning and policy development to assess impacts as a desk guide right through to being the focus at stakeholder meetings or integrated assessments.
Version 3.2 features updated references and section on integrating Māori perspectives into this work, promoting that all sectors are responsible for achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori.
Contact the Health in All Policies team to discuss training or how the IPG can be used with your next project (hiap[at]cdhb.health.nz).
