Friends of Ireland Wellbeing Service
Is fearr an tsláinte ná na táinte.
Health is better than wealth.
The Friends of Ireland Wellbeing Service is a community resource that has been developed as a partnership between the Embassy of Ireland in New Zealand and a number of Irish organisations and key stakeholders in the community. Community engagement has informed the direction of this project making it a truly 'by community, for community' resource.
The aim of the service is to support - in a tangible way - the vulnerable and newly vulnerable of the community through a range of channels, as well as providing an ‘Irish voice’ for Irish citizens in New Zealand who are dealing with wellbeing issues as a result of COVID-19.
Visit the Friends of Ireland online Resources Hub for support information and to view a series of community-hosted webinars.
The information is targeted at the Irish community, but the resources will be relevant for many others. All are welcome to join any events.
