Haere Tonu Te Waipounamu Suicide Prevention Hīkoi and Symposium
Te Waipounamu - Kia Piki Te Ora is a collaborative initiative focused on suicide prevention for Māori, aimed at achieving improved outcomes for whānau. Haere Tonu is tino rangatiratanga in action - promoting te reo me ona tīkanga, mātauranga Māori and whanaungatanga.
On their hīkoi Te Waipounamu - Kia Piki Te Ora will be sharing a collective message of aroha and kotahitanga across the motu. This a unique opportunity to learn māori approaches to wellbeing and to meet other kaimahi and whānau from all corners of Te Waipounamu.
