Join the Board of Richmond Community Garden Trust
Help the Richmond Community Garden Trust and Riverlution Eco Hub grow a greener, more connected community. These are grassroots, community-led initiatives located in the heart of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor.
Joining their board is a rewarding opportunity to shape the direction of a growing project that’s making real, on-the-ground impact. Board members help guide the Trust's strategy, ensure strong governance, and support this vibrant, eco-focused community space.
As a Board Member, you will:
- Support strategic decisions and governance for Riverlution Eco Park and Garden.
- Contribute to building a strong, values-aligned social enterprise.
- Help uphold the mission and support community-focused initiatives.
- Collaborate with a passionate, diverse team.
- Attend key events that celebrate and strengthen our community.
The Trust welcomes people from all backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. You don’t need to have previous board experience, just a genuine commitment to the kaupapa.
The Board is especially keen to hear from people with skills in:
- Governance, finance, or fundraising.
- Community engagement or education.
- Social enterprise or sustainability.
- Tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi understanding.
- Communications or project development.
