Tamaiti Healthy Homes Assessor needed in Ashburton

Tangata Atumotu Trust is looking to recruit an Assessor for the Tamaiti Healthy Homes service - , in partnership with Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi Trust. This position is full time (40 hours per week) and based in Ashburton.
The primary purpose of this role is to create and nurture relationships with families to pave the way for quality outcomes in regard to housing quality within Pasifika communities. This role will ensure families are provided with education and support in understanding the relationship between home performance and their health and wellbeing.
The successful applicants will:
- Have experience in engaging with Pasifika communities;
- Foster relationships and trust with individuals and families, connecting them with necessary supports when appropriate;
- Be responsible for undertaking accurate home performance assessments, with appropriate follow-on recommendations for home fixtures and/or on-referrals based on assessment; and
- Be eligible to work in NZ and hold a current, full NZ driver’s licence.
The salary band for this position is $59K to $70K.
