STEMinism 2024: UC’s Women in Engineering and Technology event
Are you interested in finding out about a career in engineering or technology? Then come along to STEMinism – UC’s Women in Engineering and Technology evening and discover STEM study and career opportunities!
This FREE event is aimed at female students in Year 11 to 13 who are interested in finding out more about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) study and career options. Parents, teachers and careers advisors are also welcome.
Date: Thursday 27th June 2024.
Time: 6.30 to 8.30pm.
Location: Engineering Core at the University of Canterbury Ilam campus (63 Creyke Road, Ilam).

STEMinism will feature a range of inspiring female speakers including:
- Current UC students studying STEM subjects.
- Inspiring women working in STEM industries.
There will also be a Q & A session. You can submit a question when you register and a limited number of questions will be selected for discussion.
