Study grants available for rural students of health studies
Rural Women New Zealand | Ngā Wahine Taiwhenua o Aotearoa is offering a potential boost to rurally based people wanting to study for a healthcare qualification - with support from Health New Zealand!
If you qualify, you could snag a one-off grant ranging between $2,500 and $5,000, from a total pool of $90,000. The deadline to apply is Monday 1st July 2024.
Rural Women New Zealand is keen to hear from you if you’re from a rural area and studying a health subject that will enhance healthcare offerings in rural settings. You could be studying medicine, dentistry, midwifery or nursing (inlcuding enrolled nurses and nurse practitioners too!) Allied health professionals enrolled with a recognised NZ tertiary institution are also welcome to apply.
Make a difference. These grants aim to benefit healthcare in rural communities, and your education could be the key.
