All About Flowers

Come along to this relaxed, welcoming group for anyone who loves flowers - from growing and picking to styling and arranging. This month will be an Autumn Table Styling session.

Date: Thursday 30th April 2026.
Time: 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Location: TBC.
Cost: FREE for CHS members and Friends of the Botanic Gardens. $15 for non-members.

Bulbs in Containers

Join internationally recognised bulb grower David Adams for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the art of planting and maintaining stunning bulb container gardens. Create your own pot of unique bulb cultivars to take home and enjoy!

This workshop is perfect for gardening enthusiasts of all levels who are eager to expand their knowledge and hands-on skills in bulb cultivation.

Bubbles and Blooms

Join an enchanting evening of flowers, music and celebration at this biennial Margaret Watling event. Enjoy exquisite floral demonstrations, bubbles and canapés with entertainment by Ali Harper, Leisa Falconer and Donna Alley - all in support of Orchards in Schools.

Honouring Margaret Watling’s legacy, the floral programme features inspiring demonstrations including chrysanthemums with florist Yvette Edwards and edible flowers with Marion Smith.

Date: Saturday 2nd May 2026.
Time: 6.30 to 9.30pm.
Location: Ilex Event Centre in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

Pressed Flower Art Workshop
