Join the North Canterbury Therapeutic Choir
The North Canterbury Therapeutic Choir is an extension of the Cantabrainers Choir and is making a difference for adults living with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis. They are looking to increase their numbers to become a sustainable choir for the North Canterbury region.
You do not need to be a singer, musical, or able to read music. The choir aims to improve or maintain the voice and communication through singing and socialising. They welcome those who are young and the young at heart.
Dates: Tuesdays during school terms.
Time: 1.30 to 3pm.
Location: Woodend - just off State Highway 1.
Cost: $92 per term (10 sessions), but please don’t let cost be a barrier to attending.
The choir is facilitated by a Registered Music Therapist and a Registered Speech Language Therapist.
Contact Speech Language Therapist Angela Reimer for more information on the North Canterbury Therapeutic Choir (gm][at]therapychoirs.org.nz or 020 4058 4425).
