Motov8ing Boys coming back to Christchurch
Motov8ing Boys is an event for boys aged 11 to 17 and their parents and is unlike anything you've ever been to as a family!
One of the biggest deficits seen in young people today is a lack of social and emotional intelligence. This can lead to a whole range of problems with their personal development at home, at school and with friends both on and offline.
The goal of Motov8ing Boys is inspire, inform and instruct boys and their parents on how to make smarter and more informed choices in life.
As parents it is our role to guide and advise our sons but it's this same reason they don't want to listen. Sometimes the same message communicated in a different way, and by a different person is all that's needed to start to turn things around.
This event gives parents the opportunity to expose their sons to deal advice about life in terms of when the 'rubber hits the road'. John McMahon aka the Rev engages young males through the use of motorcycles and draws from his years of rider experience to help them to navigate the twists, turns and obstacles that inevitably come up on the ride of life.
Date: Tuesday 7th May 2024.
Time: 7 to 9pm.
Location: Woolston Club at Garrick Memorial Park (43 Hargood Street, Woolston).
Cost: From AU$48 for adults and AU$38 for young people. Family tickets for 2 adults and 2 students available from AU$142.
