Let the good times roll at The Big Bike Film Night
The Big Bike Film Night will be celebrating cycling in all its glorious shapes and forms. The film festival is pedalling into Christchurch on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th May 2024.
The Big Bike Film Night is now in its 10 year and has become a much-anticipated Film Festival that brings a love of cycling to cinemas. The festival presents an array of international and New Zealand movies specifically selected by Taupō based Curator/ “Film Pedlar”, Brett Cotter.
The programme is proclaimed as ‘a feast of short films devised and designed for the two-wheel devotee’.
“Our stellar 2024 collection contains 10 mesmerizing films that are as varied and diverse as you could hope for. This global programme contains a strong contingent of Kiwi films, including a World premiere, alongside an assortment of international films having their New Zealand premiere here as well” says Mr Cotter.
The Big Bike Film Night will be screening in Christchurch:
- Thursday 23rd May 2024 (starts 6.30pm): Phillip Carter Family Auditorium in the Christchurch Art Gallery; or
- Friday 24th May 2024 (starts 7pm): Charles Luney Auditorium at St. Margaret’s College.
