Public Health Analyst needed at Community and Public Health
Community and Public Health | Te Mana Ora is looking for a Public Health Analyst to join their highly experienced Information team that will help foster your continual professional development. Play your part in supporting Canterbury in a crucial time for Public Health.
One permanent full-time position in Christchurch is available with hours negotiable for the right candidate.
The Information Team within Community and Public Health is a diverse group of skilled professionals, including public health analysts. They work together to support public health activities through a range of undertakings including, but not limited to:
- planning;
- monitoring;
- reviews of best-evidence;
- evaluation; and
- reporting.
We are committed to reducing Māori health inequities and working in ways that are consistent with the Treaty of Waitangi.
Your priority will be to provide public health research, analysis and evaluation to inform public health practice, reporting and evaluation. To be successful in this role you will have:
- A post-graduate qualification in public health or related qualification (with a strong public health component);
- Previous experience in the public health sector or similar research and analysis background;
- Expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative analysis; and
- Expertise in literature searching, critical appraisal and synthesis, and literature reviews.
