Activities Assistant needed at The Evergreen Club

Delta Community Support Trust.The Evergreen Trust is looking for an experienced, caring, encouraging and supportive person to assist with the running of our Evergreen Club Day Programme for older persons. The Club aims to support senior citizens to live healthier longer lives in the community. The position involves working as part of a team made up of a Club Manager, Day Programme Coordinators, Activities Assistants, Cooks and Volunteers.

The Club runs five days a week Monday to Friday for most of the year. This position is for 21 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday). The successful applicant would also need a level of flexibility to cover for colleagues in cases of sickness or annual leave.

This position is part of a small team so The Club is looking for candidates who can support the team by being able to step into either a supportive role or leadership role if required. Having proven leadership experience in planning and in the safe implementation of older person's group activities while delivering on outcomes defined by Ministry of Health would be an advantage.

Candidates must also be able to identify strongly with Delta Community Support Trust's mission, vision and values.
