Principles of Family Violence Intervention Micro-credential
This micro-credential from Ara is useful if you’re working in health, social work or related fields - starts Monday 16th September 2024.
The course uses a kaupapa-centred approach,and critically considers the safety, support and empowerment of whānau in the development of response strategies. The knowledge and skills you’ll gain through this 10-credit micro-credential will enable you to undertake a reliable and fair-minded assessment of service-related safety needs in family violence case scenarios.
Most of your study will be online, but you’ll also attend two, full-day, on-site wānanga at Ara’s Christchurch City campus. You must be employed or volunteering in a relevant role to study this micro-credential.
