No Worries: Supporting employers to understand and respond to mental distress
No Worries aims is to engage and work with employers to develop their capacity and confidence to employ people with mental distress and feel comfortable in knowing how to respond appropriately. No Worries is run by PeerZone and funded by the Like Minds Like Mine programme.
The programme offers workplaces the following free services:
- All Good: A workshop designed for managers;
- Sweet As: Informal workplace-base discussion groups with staff; and
- A Great Yarn: an animated video series for employers.
No Worries supports employers and colleagues to:
- recognise when colleagues might be experiencing mental distress;
- feel more confident having conversations about mental distress in the workplace; and
- understand more about mental distress by working alongside educators who have had their own personal challenges and experiences.
