The newsletter is published three times a year by the Health in All Policies team at Community and Public Health, and often highlights the work of Healthy Christchurch signatories.

- Kia ora. COVID-19 threw a real curve ball at us, but thanks to the efforts of our team of five million, we now have zero cases. Woo-hoo!
Aotearoa has shown that when we come together, we can achieve remarkable things

It's become really apparent over the past week that we're all in different places at the mo - some of us are rushing back amongst it, while others are still playing it safe from our homes- Welcome to the latest news from Sustainable Ōtautahi Christchurch.
We at SŌC hope you have negotiated the lockdown and are adjusting to the new normal
- Kia ora and greetings. The nation is now settling into its first full week at alert level 2 with more people returning to work and school, after weeks of being in lockdown

- Kia ora. It's a big week ahead Aotearoa, with school heading back tomorrow and many more of us stepping out of our bubbles.
After so long in noho rāhui/ lockdown, it's totally normal for you to be experiencing mixed emotions right now
- Kia ora. Congratulations New Zealand on moving into Alert Level 2! This was only possible because of the hard work and sacrifices we all made to get COVID-19 under control. So give yourself a big pat on the back

As we grapple with what a return to alert level 2 on Thursday will mean for us, we'll all be feeling different emotions- Kia ora. Today we're sending some extra aroha to the mums, the stand-in mums, those without mums, and those who find Mother's Day a tough time. We're also thinking of those who have lost their mums, or who can't see them during lockdown
- Kia ora. Haven't we done well? Two '0' case days in a row is definitely a cause for celebration. Thank you for doing your bit!
This was always going to be a marathon, and not a sprint, and there's still a way to go. But so far, so good Aotearoa
- Kia Ora. There are many challenges ahead for those passionate about wellbeing especially food security. We have witnessed all levels of society demonstrating a strong ability to pivot quickly and support local communities
- Kia ora. How has your first week of level 3 been?
We see you out there cycling, walking in the sun and showing the love to our local food and coffee joints. Go you!
While there's been good bits, we know that there's been lots of wobbles and struggles too
