Getting Through Together Digest: 8th September 2021
Kia ora It wouldn't be right to start this update without extending our heartfelt thanks to our friends and whānau in Tāmaki Makaurau. Thank you for all the heavy lifting you are still doing to keep everyone safe.
We'd also like to do a shout out to Aotearoa’s incredible essential workforce. From truckies to teachers, and social workers to supermarket staff, there are so many people going over and above to keep Kiwis fed, housed and healthy.
Whether you're returning to a 'new normal' or taking things day by day at Level 4, it's always a great time to reach out to friends and whānau and share a bit of extra aroha. It's a small thing that can mean the world to someone.
We've packed this issue with all sorts of helpful advice to boost your mind, body and soul - no matter what level you're at.

Not all right?
New challenges and the loss of our regular routines is causing stress for many of us. This can really erode our wellbeing over time. It’s important to remember to do the little things that help recharge us. It’s also important to know there is someone to talk to and free help available.
It’s all right to reach out if you need to - we all need a bit of support from time-to-time.
Call or text 1737 to speak with a trained counsellor anytime - it’s free and completely confidential. You can also call Lifeline on 0800 543354 or text HELP to 4357.
