Canada's 2019 Food Guide
Canada's new 2019 Food Guide has officially been announced after five years of preparation.
ANA Health Promotion Manager Alison Pask says "I'm delighted to see the guide states healthy eating is more than the foods you eat. It is also about where, when, why and how you eat. There is even a statement to warn that food marketing can influence your choices. The messages are simple and encouraging without recommending amounts of foods to eat each day".
Book accommodation before Sunday 10th February to get the special accommodation price of $199 per night for a double room.
Developing Māori capability and knowledge is the prime focus of Ngā Kanohi Kitea community research grants. The grants provide opportunities for iwi, hapū and other community groups to address community-identified health needs.
Congratulations Patricia Harry
Patricia won a 2-day registration to attend the 2019 ANA conference in Auckland by completing the annual ANA survey. Patricia says 'It’s a great conference of wonderful programmes being shared and networking, of course, is a plus. I thank ANA for giving me this opportunity to attend and also support my team as well.'
Register for the ANA conference in Auckland (21st to 22nd May 2019).
The Active Living and Environment Symposium (TALES) is in Dunedin from 13th to 15th February 2019.
