Neighbours Day Newsletter: November 2018

Wednesday, November 07, 2018   Posted in: Newsletters By: Administrator With tags: newsletter, event, Community

Start your engines! Hello again! Sam and Cissy here, your Neighbours Day Aotearoa coordinators. It's been an amazing couple of weeks, as we gear up for our Neighbours of New Zealand Road Trip.

Thank you so much to everyone who dropped us a line, sent a message, or commented on facebook - we so appreciate it! We were absolutely inundated with offers - and we're SO SORRY if we've missed anyone, or haven't gotten back to you - please get in touch again (sam[at]neighboursday.org.nz). We're still locking down a few venues in the South Island and Lower/East North Island, and we've got heaps of things to lock down in the Upper/West North Island.

Neighbours of New Zealand Road Trip Itinerary

We're hitting the road in the lead up to our 10th celebration of Neighbours Day Aotearoa.  As we drive across the country we’ll be running workshops and reaching out to meet people who are working to create great neighbourhoods across New Zealand. These interactive workshops are for anyone planning a Neighbours Day Event, or supporting other people.

Come along, share ideas, and get the support you need to put on a great Neighbours Day Aotearoa event!

View the itinerary for the Neighbours of New Zealand Road Trip for a list of our confirmed destinations and scheduled workshops - be sure to check back soon as we confirm further workshops.

Follow Neighbours Day Aotearoa on Facebook to follow our facebook live updates as we hit the road!

10 Days, 10 Ways!

In celebration of our 10 year anniversary, we're holding Neighbours Day Aotearoa over 10 days (March 22-31, 2019).

We've also come up with ways to celebrate:

We think there's something to inspire just about everyone to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa next year.

Check out how to join in on Neighbours Day Aotearoa!

Don't forget to register your Neighbours Day events!

Let us know how you’re celebrating Neighbours Day Aotearoa in 2019 and you could be in to win. Registering an event, no matter how small, puts you in the draw to win a $100 prezzy card or limited edition Neighbours Day Aotearoa t-shirt, plus it helps us know how many neighbours are connecting!
