SEWN Christchurch Newsletter: July 2017

Thursday, June 29, 2017   Posted in: Newsletters By: Administrator With tags: newsletter, Community Groups

Welcome to the July/Hōngonui 2017 Social Equity and Wellbeing Network (SEWN) newsletter.

Kia ora koutou,

This time of year can be a bit of a slog, but isn’t it great to be past the shortest day and know that spring is on its way!

SEWN has been involved with lots of inter-esting things lately, so the days have been flying by for us.

We’re helping Community House review and enhance what it does to foster community in the House. We’ve also been part of a dis-cussion about a South Island-wide public health alliance and what it might do.

One of the projects of the National Science Challenge convened a dialogue about vul-nerable people and climate change that we got to be part of. We’re looking forward to some good outcomes.

Do take good care of yourselves and each other during the cold and wet weather.

Email items for SEWN’s July newsletter by Tuesday 25th July 2017 to newsletter[at]
